KENDALL PARK
(between New Brunswick and Princeton/ off of Route 27 and Route 1)
Our Kendall Park client
has a large south facing roof and an average size electric bill. At present, we sized the system for 36 modules
with the proper size inverters for expansion. When the customer is ready, we simply
add 9 more modules.
Special considerations were that a slender yet
tall pine tree was removed that was blocking the array and the electrical panel was
upgraded to 150 amp. The main
electrical panel had to be moved since it was located to near the gas line according to
code.
After our client installs low voltage radiant
heat for the floors, we will add the additional 9 panels to supplement the new electrical
load. The present and future array
will cover 100% of the customer’s electric bill.
By using solar, the home is reducing the amount
of CO2 emitted into the air by 9275 lbs based on average CO2 emissions for U.S. electric
generation.
