Joseph and Katherine had
wanted to solar for awhile. They had got a quote from another firm but that
firm never gave them what their savings and power production would be. MAK
took the time to go over all the Sorge’s questions and provide accurate
analysis for power production so they had tangible numbers to make a
decision. The Sorges’ run a small farm and their south facing metal roof
barn was a perfect location for their installation. MAK installed a 56
module system which covered half their electric bill. Combined with Green
Tags savings, the Sorge’s have significantly decreased their electric bill.
Special installation
considerations was that the barn roof was a metal fold over standing seam.
No problem, we just used a special sealant for metal roofs. In addition, MAK
pulled wire through the existing conduit to provide electricity to the
house.
